1. Booking & Reservation

• All reservations are subject to room availability and confirmation by River City Homestay.
• A booking is considered confirmed only after the required payment has been received and a confirmation email or message has been issued.
• Guests are responsible for providing accurate personal and booking information.

2. Check-in & Check-out

• Check-in Time: 12:00 PM onwards
• Check-out Time: 11:00 AM

Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may attract additional charges.

3. Guest Identification

As per Government of India regulations, every guest must present a valid government-issued photo identity proof at the time of check-in.

Accepted IDs include:

• Aadhaar Card
• Passport
• Driving Licence
• Voter ID
• Government-issued Identity Card

International guests must present a valid Passport and Visa.

4. Payment Policy

• Full or partial advance payment may be required to confirm your reservation.
• Remaining dues, if any, must be settled during check-in unless otherwise agreed.
• We accept payments through approved online payment methods, bank transfers, UPI, and cash (subject to applicable regulations).

5. Cancellation & Refund

Cancellation and refund requests will be processed in accordance with the Refund & Cancellation Policy available on our website.

6. Room Occupancy

• Guests must not exceed the maximum occupancy specified for each room.
• Additional guests or extra bedding may incur extra charges and are subject to availability.

7. House Rules

To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests:

• Maintain silence between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
• Keep rooms and common areas clean.
• Respect other guests and staff members.
• Any damage caused to the property will be chargeable.

8. Smoking & Alcohol

• Smoking is prohibited inside guest rooms and indoor common areas unless specifically designated.
• Consumption of alcohol must be responsible and comply with applicable laws.
• Illegal drugs, narcotics, or prohibited substances are strictly forbidden on the property.

9. Pets

Pets are permitted only with prior approval from the management. Additional charges and conditions may apply.

10. Visitor Policy

Visitors are allowed only with prior permission from the management. Overnight visitors must be registered and may be subject to additional charges.

11. Safety & Security

Guests are requested to:

• Lock their rooms when leaving.
• Safeguard personal belongings.
• Report any suspicious activity immediately.

River City Homestay is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings.

12. In-House Dining

River City Homestay does not operate a public restaurant. However, an exclusive in-house dining facility is available for registered guests.

• Meals are served from the in-house menu.
• Guests may enjoy their meals in the designated dining area.
• Advance ordering may be required for selected dishes.

13. Parking

Complimentary parking is available for guests on a first-come, first-served basis. River City Homestay shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to vehicles or their contents.

14. Force Majeure

River City Homestay shall not be liable for any failure or delay in providing services due to events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, floods, pandemics, government restrictions, strikes, power failures, or other unforeseen circumstances.

15. Website Usage

The content, images, logos, and materials available on this website are the property of River City Homestay unless otherwise stated. Unauthorized copying, reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is prohibited without prior written permission.

16. Limitation of Liability

River City Homestay shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

• Website usage.
• Booking cancellations.
• Delays caused by external circumstances.
• Loss or damage of personal belongings.
• Service interruptions beyond our control.

17. Right to Refuse Service

River City Homestay reserves the right to refuse admission or terminate a guest’s stay without refund if the guest:

• Violates these Terms & Conditions.
• Engages in illegal activities.
• Causes damage to the property.
• Disturbs other guests or staff.
• Poses a threat to the safety or security of the property.

18. Amendments

River City Homestay reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updated versions will be published on this website.

19. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Guwahati, Assam.
